2. Enoch Sapp
Enoch Sapp, born 1790 in ,VA; died 1867; married Ruth Barrow 14 Feb 1828 in , Telfair, GA; born Unknown.
From Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia, Volume 4, pages 253-254:
Enoch Sapp was born in 1790 in Virgina, son of Levi Sapp, R.S. (Vol 1). He grew up in Montgomery and Tattnall Counties, and married in Telfair County, February 14, 1828 to Ruthy Barrow, born 1810 in Telfair, daughter of Joseph Barrow, the latter about 1830-35 followed his son, Joshua Barrow, to Thomas County when the latter moved there. Enoch and Ruthy had nine children.
Enoch Sapp lived in portions of Telfair south of the Ocmulgee River (now Coffee County) about ten years after his marriage, then moved to the 6th district of Ware County living there until cut into Clinch County, 1850 and into Coffee County in 1867. He died about 1885. Place of Burrall not ascertained.

Henry Sapp, born 10 Feb 1828; died 18 Jun 1909; married (1) Sarah Deane 7 Feb 1848; born 15 Oct 1815; died 11 Apr 1863 in , Doughtery, GA; married (2) Susan Miller 19 Dec 1863 in , Dooughtery, GA; born Apr 1833; died 3 Sep 1914.

Private Henry Sapp, son of Jason & Jane, grandson of Levi Sapp, Revolutionary Soldier. Henry was born in Georgia FEBRUARY 10, 1828. He married Sarah Deane on February. 7. 1848. On Jun 22,1861, their lives changed forever, Henry enlisted with Co. D, 18th Regiment. Ga Infantry at Camp McDonald, in Pavo, Georgia, for a period of three years. He was 33. Assigned to Army of Northern Virginia, Private Sapp endured such battles as Seven Pines, Gaine's Mill, Seven Day Battle, Malvern Hill and 2nd Manassa at Groveton, Virginia August 28th, 1862 where he was wounded by a Minnie ball in the right ankle joint causing amputation just above the knee. Private Sapp's name appears on a list of prisoners paroled at Warrenton, Virginia. He was sent to the hospital Albany, Georgia where he remained on the rolls July and August of 1864. He served one year and two months before being disabled. During his hospitalization, his wife died April 11,1863. Henry married a war widow, Susan Miller Walden from Dougherty County, December 19, 1863. They returned to Brooks County where Henry farmed and raised a large family. He drew a Confederate Pension for a disabled soldier. Two of the Sapp daughters Married sons of Stephen Henry Hampton, also buried at Old Bethel Cemetery Brooks County, Georgia. Henry died June 16, 1909, his wife Susan died September 3, 1914. They are buried side by side at Old Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Brooks County, Georgia. They were long time members of this church
An IRON CROSS was dedicated at his grave in 1994 to honor his sacrifices, it was stolen within a year by someone who knew nothing about the suffering and hardships he had endured.
